The dishes served in the restaurant Sapori dell’impero reinterpret the Mitteleuropean traditional cuisine with taste and creativity.
A wide choice ranging from the local cold cuts and cheeses (S. Daniele raw ham, Austrian speck, formadi franc cheese, frico, pittina) to the fish main courses (smoked swordfish, octopus, cod fish) and the meat main courses (musetto – boiled pork sausage - in bread, goulash duved), which can be also grilled and cooked inside the peka*. Also among the pasta and soup dishes (mlinzi, soups, biechi) as well as among the home made cakes and desserts (strudel, Catalan cream) the flavours of the typical traditional cuisine stand out.
All menu items, exclusively made with fresh, seasonal products, are complimented with thoughtfully selected wines: wines from the Collio and Italian wines, as well as sparkling wines and Champagne.
